During the 15 years Mary has worked with Kathy, she has helped hundreds of high school students in an array of academic subjects while helping them improve critical executive function skills. Through her constant efforts to advance her knowledge, she has gained theoretical knowledge of teaching and is attuned to diverse learning styles. Mary is truly committed to the young people she serves and does what it takes to help them succeed.
Mary attended the University of Michigan and Ferris State University and started her career in the healthcare sector as a Health Information Administrator. There she honed her skills in finding new and different ways to achieve success by working with others and using technology. After her daughter began to struggle in elementary school, Mary used those skills as she embarked on what would become a passionate search for answers to questions about learning, teaching, and individual pathways to academic success.
Mary resides in North Carolina with her husband. During her free time, Mary enjoys spending time with her children and granddaughters, serving her church community, and getting into a good book.
