“SAT or ACT? That is the question.”
As published in, Must I take both the SAT AND the ACT? ABSOLUTELY NOT, the SAT and ACT is an EITHER/OR proposition. Spending time, money, and emotional capital on preparing for and taking both tests is a waste of resources.
Although the pandemic resulted in some colleges universities remaining test optional for the foreseeable future (e.g., University of California & Iowa Board of Regents ), others are up in the air or have already indicated that students should plan to submit test scores for the2023 admissions cycle.
Bottom line: In many instances, standardized test scores are still important in the college admissions process.
